Prof. Sukhvir Sanghal's who stayed away from the glare of publicity once in a life time organized an art exhibition at Lalit kala Akademi, Rabindra Bhawan, New Delhi in October 1992. The exhibition was inaugurated on 22nd October 1992 by Padma Vibhushan Dharma Vira, former Cabinet Secretary and Governer of West Bengal. Many eminent personalities of India such as Indian Congress President - Sonia Gandhi, Indian art historian and museologist - Rai Ananda Krishna, Ex. Home Minister Shivraj Patil, Cabinet Minister of Government of India - Ram Niwas Mirdha and many others art lovers were present to grace the occasion. His art was appreciated and loved by many art lovers present at the occasion.
